UK Chinese Dragon Boat Festival (CDBF)

The UK Chinese Dragon Boat Festival is organised by the Xinhua Chinese Association and held at MediaCityUK and The Quays in Salford, Greater Manchester. The organiser's website announces that the festival returns on 5 and 6 June 2027. The programme combines amateur team dragon boat racing with a cultural show, presentations and food stalls. Separate entry routes exist for amateur race teams and for youth teams, and the organiser also runs training sessions ahead of the event. According to the organiser, the 2025 edition attracted over 21,000 attendees to activities on and off the water.
