Emory Valley Center Dragon Boat Race (Inaugural Emory Valley Center Dragon Boat Festival)

Emory Valley Center will host its inaugural Dragon Boat Race on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Melton Lake Park in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, as a fundraiser supporting programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Teams of 10 paddlers plus a drummer (steersperson provided) race authentic dragon boats and are guaranteed multiple heats, with an optional practice session beforehand. Team registration is open now via the organizer's Jotform and closes Friday, July 31, 2026.
