Corporate Challenge #24

DragonBoat SA's 24th Annual Corporate Challenge is a corporate and social team competition held at the Aquatic Reserve on Bower Road, West Lakes. Racing is over 200 metres, with each team contesting three timed races per category entered; the best two times count towards the result and the slowest is dropped. Teams carry no more than 12 people on board - 10 paddlers, a drummer and a sweep - and DragonBoat SA supplies a fully accredited sweep and drummer to every team. Up to 12 paddlers may be named on the team sheet including two reserves, the minimum to race is 8 paddlers, the minimum paddler age is 10, and only one DBSA-registered paddler may be listed per team. Divisions are Social and Corporate, with Open, Mixed and Women categories; every participant must have completed at least one training session and an on-land capsize drill beforehand. Entry is AUD 15 (GST incl.) per team member and entries close on Sunday 27 September 2026, returned by email with the team sheet to secretary@dragonboatsa.com.
