NE1 Newcastle Dragon Boat Race 2026

The NE1 Dragon Boat Race is organized by Newcastle NE1 Ltd on the River Tyne along Newcastle Quayside, between the Tyne Bridge and the Millennium Bridge next to Newcastle City Marina. Corporate and charity crews of 11 to 16 paddlers plus a drummer race head to head over the course of the day. Team captains are asked to arrive by 8:30am and racing runs between 9am and 4pm. Entry is £800 plus VAT for the Race Day Essentials package or £1,100 plus VAT for the Race Day Plus package, with a £200 deposit securing a boat and the balance due 30 days before the event.
