2026 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival

The 2026 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival takes place 24-30 August 2026 on the shores of Lac du Bourget in Aix-les-Bains, France — the first time the festival is held in France. Around 4,500 breast cancer paddlers from 320 IBCPC member teams across 37 countries are expected. After training days and the IBCPC Congress with the Parade of Nations on 27 August, 500m races are held on Friday 28 August and 200m races plus the Sandy Smith Global Finale and Flower Ceremony on Saturday 29 August. The event is organised by Pagaie Plus Loin under the International Breast Cancer Paddlers' Commission.
