Dragonboat Race 2026 – St Columba's Hospice Care

The Dragonboat Race 2026 is the annual fundraising regatta of St Columba's Hospice Care, held on the Firth of Forth at Port Edgar Marina in South Queensferry near Edinburgh. Crews of 17 people (16 paddlers and one drummer) race head to head to be crowned Dragonboat Champion 2026, and individuals can also join a mixed boat. No previous experience is required, but participants must be aged 12 or over and able to swim 50 metres with a buoyancy aid. Entry costs £30 for a single place or £450 for a full boat, with a fundraising target of £100 per person. Alongside the racing the organizers run refreshments, a bake sale, face painting and children's games on shore. The race is delivered with Dragon Boat Events Ltd, which lists the same Edinburgh date in its 2026 calendar.
