Dragons on the Lake Dragon Boat Festival

The 1st annual Dragons on the Lake Dragon Boat Festival takes place on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Lily Lake in Rockwood Park, Saint John, New Brunswick. Races run over 200m in a single mixed division (minimum 6 women per team), with every team guaranteed two races and top teams advancing to additional heats. Teams consist of 8-12 paddlers plus a drummer, and all experience levels are welcome. The fundraising festival supports outreach programs of Lily Lake Pavilion and the Lancaster Branch #69 Royal Canadian Legion, with race production by 22Dragons.
