Booker Dragon Boat Race 2027

GroceryAid and the wholesaler Booker stage a corporate dragon boat race on the River Thames at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre near Marlow. Over 40 teams from the grocery and wholesale trade compete, with each boat carrying ten people; entrants buy either a team of ten or a team of five and can invite a Booker colleague to fill the boat. The day starts at 09:00 with team registration and networking, followed by a welcome and team briefing at 10:00, and includes sponsor activations, entertainment, a barbecue and a prize giving. Entry is priced at £12,000 + VAT per team of ten or £6,000 + VAT per team of five, with sponsorship packages also available. This is an industry fundraising event for GroceryAid rather than an open-entry public regatta; the 2026 edition raised over £420,000 with more than 480 competitors.
