Dragon Boat Race 2026 – The Shakespeare Hospice

The Shakespeare Hospice holds its Dragon Boat Race on the River Avon at Stratford Boat Club in Stratford-upon-Avon. Boats carry up to 17 paddlers, and every team races in at least three heats, with the winners going through to a Grand Final where medals and the Shakespeare Hospice Champions Trophy are awarded. Racing starts from 10:00am. A £250 deposit secures a boat and each team is asked to raise a minimum of £1,000 for the hospice. The race is delivered in partnership with Dragon Boat Events Ltd.
