The 6th Annual Mitchell's Place Dragon Boat Race & Festival is a fundraising dragon boat race and community festival at East Lake Park in Birmingham, Alabama, benefiting Mitchell's Place's autism and early intervention services. Teams of 10 paddlers (minimum 4 female) plus 1 drummer race in boats, gear, and coaching provided by Dynamic Dragon Boat Racing, with only 25 team slots available; the day also features a kids' zone, food trucks, a merchant market, live music, and a Tito's-sponsored cocktail contest.
