September Dragon Boat Festival

Charity dragon boat festival on the Red River at the Manitoba Canoe & Kayak Centre in Winnipeg, raising funds for the Never Alone Cancer Foundation. Racing is run in pursuit format over 500 m in 10-person boats, with teams of 8-12 paddlers. Entry is CAD 550 per boat (early bird until July 19, 2026) or CAD 600 thereafter, including equipment, a steersperson and two mandatory practice sessions between August 31 and September 10.
