BDA National Championships

The BDA National Championships is the two-day event held at the end of the British dragon boat season. The BDA race calendar lists Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026 at Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham, with racing over 200m, 500m and a 2km pursuit. The BDA states that the Championships include categories for Open, Mixed, Men, Women, Senior (40+) and Under 18 crews. A round of heats decides which crews go into the Cup competition and which go into the Plate or Bowl competition. All crews that compete during the season receive an invitation, and entry runs through the BDA membership platform. No start time or entry fee is published on the federation page.
